Selecting the right EcoFlow power station depends on your specific needs. For home backup, the EcoFlow Delta Pro offers high capacity and power. For camping, the portable EcoFlow River series is ideal. Finding the perfect fit is essential for meeting your energy needs.
EcoFlow Delta vs EcoFlow River Series
First of all, you need to consider how much power you need. Of the portable power stations, there are two series to choose from: the Delta Series and the River Series. The difference between the two is that the Delta series has a higher battery storage capacity, however, it is also heavier and bulkier. So if power is what you’re looking for, we recommend looking at the Delta series. However, if portability is a priority, then the River Series is the way to go.
Delta Series
EcoFlow Delta Pro
As the winner of the Time Magazine “Best Inventions 2021” award, this portable battery will take care of your needs. It supports a 3.6kWh capacity, but it can be expanded to as large as a 25kWh capacity. This is enough to power certain AC units and dryers.
EcoFlow Delta Pro Extra Smart Battery
Increase your capacity to 7200Wh and 7.2kW of output when you pair this Smart Battery with the EcoFlow Delta Pro. Additionally, you can combine up to two Extra Smart Batteries to increase your power to an enormous 10.8kWh to use off-grid. It’s perfect for backing up a home or for off-grid activities such as camping or vanlife.
River Series
EcoFlow RIVER Pro Power Station
This device can charge extremely fast. Within one hour, the RIVER Pro Power Station can charge from 0% to 80%. Not only that, but you can pair this device with a RIVER Pro Extra Battery to double its capacity from 720Wh to 1440Wh. This durable power station is ideal for camping, outdoor activities and traveling due to its compact size and weight.
Portable Solar Panels
If you choose to go with a Power Station, adding on a Portable Solar Panel could have many additional benefits. A portable solar panel will allow you to charge your power station from any location so long as you have sunlight (even if you’re camping off-grid, or living the van life). You can also integrate these solar panels with your home when you have the Smart Home Panel and power up to 10 home circuits.
EcoFlow 400W Portable Solar Panel
This panel has its own support system, allowing you the versatility to set it up anywhere. Not only that, but it’s also weatherproof- meaning you can use it in all kinds of weather which is ideal for camping. Additionally, this panel weighs only 35.3 lbs. so it’s easy to set up and transport solo.
EcoFlow 220W Bifacial Portable Solar Panel
This portable solar panel has many of the same benefits (lightweight, includes support system) as the 400W panel, except that it has an even higher durability with being completely waterproof. And although it produces less energy than the 400W panel, it makes up for it by charging 220W on the main side, and 155W on the backside for ambient light.

EcoFlow Smart Home Panel
The EcoFlow Smart Home Panel pairs perfectly with the Delta Pro Portable Power Station. If the power ever goes out, the Smart Home Panel will automatically switch to battery backup mode. This means your home will continue to be powered on up to 7200W of power. A great benefit of the EcoFlow Smart Home Panel is the EcoFlow app. It allows you to control and manage 10 of your home’s circuits right on your phone. It also allows you to avoid rate peaks, so that you can save money on your energy bills.
