  We have now used Good Faith Energy twice for outstanding service, and both times they have exceeded our expectations. For our first project, installing a complete solar system with 30 Solar Panels, Powerwall and SPAN electrical smart panel … More and the team was exceptional from start to finish. Our most recent project, adding additional panels to max out our Powerwall inverter before this year’s tax credits end was handled with the same level of professionalism and expertise. The entire team, including Frans with follow-up onsite visit to address any questions was over the top, Frans was communicative, knowledgeable, outlined options and best practices to take advantage of the capabilities of the solar/battery system. It's rare to find a company that maintains such high standards across multiple projects, but Good Faith Energy does. In fact, I would like GFE to possibly install/upgrade our vacation home out of state. We highly recommend them, and we will be repeat customers in the future

  I don’t normally write reviews, and Good Faith Energy did not ask me to write this review, but I’ve had such good experiences with this company that I had to express my praise for Good Faith Energy.
  I first contacted Good Faith Energy … More to help with solar planning for an all-electric house build I was building in Dallas, TX. While the house was still in the pre-drywall phase, I wanted to make sure that anything that could be added in the construction phase to help with solar installation later was done. Good Faith Energy helped me out, and for a nominal fee, they designed an electrical plan and coordinated with the builder on what components would make installation easier in the future.
  My original plan was to build the house and live in the house for a year to figure out my electricity needs, and then design a solar system around my usage. However, after moving in in early 2025, I decided to proceed with solar installation given my fear that the solar tax credit would be going away soon.
  I explored several solar companies, but ultimately picked Good Faith Energy. They were familiar with the products I was interested in (REC solar panels, SPAN panels, and Tesla Powerwall 3). They are very involved with the community and post very insightful videos on YouTube. You can tell that their owner and all of the employees are passionate about what they sell and install, and truly care about selecting the right solar system for you.
  My sales associate with Sammy, who was happy to provide different quotes, and he offered me very good suggestions about things I hadn’t thought of. Joe was the engineer that worked on the plans, and he was also incredibly helpful and patient with me. He understood my desire to maximize the number of panels on my roof space, and tried out different ways with the design to maximize solar production. Samantha and Amanda were excellent project managers, who kept me informed throughout the entire project.
  My install was a bit more complicated than a typical residential system. My house is all-electric, and I have a 320 amp service powering two 200 amp panels. As a result, I ultimately went with a 28.5 kW REC solar panel system powering two separate sets of Tesla Powerwall 3 (5 total).
  Special shoutout to our electrician Ronnie and the site manager Shane, along with the rest of the Good Faith Energy install team, who battled some of the hottest days this summer to install the project on time. Their attention to detail was impressive, and the result is a very clean install.
  I live in a conservation district in Dallas, and as a result, I needed approval from the conservation district as well as from the City of Dallas. It took several months to get a permit, but Good Faith Energy had experience with this and knew how to handle it.
  There was one minor rough patch. We scheduled a city inspection two weeks ahead of schedule, but Good Faith Energy wasn’t there where the city inspector came, which generated an immediate red-tag. However, this was ironed out by the next week, and we received a green tag after just one inspection the following week.
  Since the install, I’ve had a couple minor issues with the system, but Good Faith Energy was quick to respond and resolve the issues. I have been left with a feeling that this company stands behind their project.
  In the end, for such a complex and expensive project, I have had an extremely positive experience working with Good Faith Energy, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a solar install in DFW.

  I researched solar panel companies for months in preparation for hiring one for my home. Ultimately I decided on Good Faith Energy because of its reputation, professional knowledge (that became evident when compared to the employees of … More other companies I interviewed who didn’t seem to know/understand the capabilities of the various products I asked about), products offered, comprehensive installation, set up, and post-installation assistance, and use of Good Faith Energy employees in the scope of work (as opposed to a rotating door of sub contractors who can have varying skills & work quality). I had the following installed with my system: solar panels, battery/inverter, extra battery, and SPAN panel. This was a big investment for me so research and due diligence was critical. Good Faith has exceeded my expectations, and even when I reported minor things that I think could have been done better (for example, a caulk sealing), Good Faith Energy promptly responded and sent a professional out to address/remediate it. Though the system was installed and working and they were paid, there was no hesitation or delay in their response and sending someone out. It’s been almost 2 months since my installation and my system has endured heavy rainfall, snow, and ice, and, to my knowledge, everything has worked as it’s supposed to. I also appreciate the post-installation guidance in choosing the right electricity plan and programming of the SPAN and Powerwall apps for same. Overall, after getting at least 6 estimates and meeting with 3 solar panel companies, I don’t think I would trust such an investment to any other company in DFW presently. While Good Faith Energy wasn’t the highest bid, when I reviewed the lower bids, it became apparent why they were lower in terms of the systems (one less battery, different brand inverter/battery, lower quality panels, no SPAN panel, etc) and the contracts seemed to shield them from liability for their own potential wrongdoing(s) and/or allow them to use subs for the installation that the purchaser has no control over while the company has you indemnify them for mistakes/issues such subs you don’t choose cause. That was a hard pass for me! If you want quality, reliability, knowledgeable staff, no unknown sub contractors, on going customer service, top of the line products, & a reasonable price for a quality system, then Good Faith Energy is the company to use! I’m very pleased with their work and follow up.
