CoServ's Solar Buyback Program
CoServ's Distributed Generation program with buyback allows CoServ members to be compensated at the avoided wholesale cost for all excess solar energy they contribute back to the grid. Buyback compensation comes in the form of a bill credit applied to each monthly bill, which can be used against all charges and applicable taxes. Any unused credits carry over to the following month's bill.
The buyback rate is set at the avoided wholesale cost to keep pricing equitable for the entire CoServ membership, while still offering a competitive return for members who invest in solar.
