    Responsibilities

    Qualifications

    • Arrive at service calls on time
    • Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
    • Provide estimates for cost and timeline prior to beginning work
    • Acquire signature of client on service agreement prior to beginning work
    • Conduct all work to the very best of your ability, as if it were your own home/business
    • Notify client immediately if plan needs to be adjusted due to unforeseen circumstances
    • Perform routine maintenance on various systems as requested
    • Follow specifications on blueprints/diagrams/technical drawings for installations
    • Conduct all repairs and installations according to code
    • Utilize all safety equipment and follow all safety regulations and guidelines

    Responsibilities

    Qualifications

    • Assisting photovoltaic system installation from beginning to end
    • Will work side by side with other crew members and install all photovoltaic system components
    • Check electrical installation for proper wiring, polarity, grounding, or integrity of terminations
    • Determine appropriate sizes, ratings, and locations for all system overcurrent devices, disconnect devices, grounding equipment, and surge suppression equipment
    • Must be able to read and interpret solar blueprints and Single Line Diagram
    • Use “Industry Best Practices” to assemble the solar array racking, properly seal all roof penetrations, and install all relative equipment per plans
    • Identify methods for laying out, orienting, and mounting modules or arrays to ensure efficient installation, electrical configuration, or maintenance
    • Install module array interconnect wiring
    • Install required labels on solar system components and hardware
    • Measure and analyze system performance and operating parameters to assess operating condition of systems or equipment
    • Program, adjust, or configure inverters and controls for desired set points and operating modes
    • Select mechanical designs, equipment, or installation plans that conform to environmental, architectural, structural, site, and code requirements
    • Test operating voltages to ensure operation within acceptable limits for power conditioning equipment, such as inverters and controllers
    • Visually inspect and test photovoltaic (PV) modules or systems
    • Cleaning and maintaining job site and equipment
    • Performs other duties and projects as assigned
    • Strong customer-service skills. Residential installers must work in and on customers' homes, and will be representing the company at all times
    • Be a team player, work with all company personnel and crew members to complete projects within established policies and procedures
    • Ability to learn and take instruction
    • Must be self-driven, highly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
    • Willingness to work long hours, often in unpleasant weather conditions
    • Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on safety
    • Detail oriented. PV installers must carefully follow instructions during installation
    • Mechanical skills. PV installers work with complex electrical and mechanical equipment. They must be able to build support structures that hold PV panels in place, and properly connect the panels to the electrical system
    • Physical stamina. PV installers are often on their feet carrying panels and other heavy equipment. Ability to walk on un-even surfaces
    • Physical strength. Must have full range or mobility in upper and lower body; ability to work in various positions and environments. PV installers must often lift heavy equipment, parts, and tools
    • Learn and maintain a current knowledge of the solar/electrical code
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issues
    • Understand the full scope of work for a given project
    • Must be able to effectively read, write and communicate in English

    Qualifications

    • Analyze electric bills for annual consumption, fixed charges, demand charges, cost per kWh, and other metrics necessary when assessing the feasibility of solar energy
    • Investigate the net-metering policy for clients’ utility company, their rate design, and any requirements or restrictions as they relate to installing on-site solar and/or storage
    • Work with engineering team to prepare optimal design based on client needs and preferences
    • Prepare cash-savings analysis to help customer understand the ROI (Return on Investment)
    • Follow-up religiously with prospects until they receive a yes, no, or not at this time
    • Attend on-site or virtual consultations to close sales
    • CRM upkeep with daily activity log
    • Close company-generated leads and self-generated leads
    • Obtain signatures on master service agreement and loan agreement (if necessary)
    • Gather site photos needed by engineering team to prepare permitting plans
    • Collect funds from cash customers and attend client installations
    • Collect positive customer reviews, testimonials, and referrals
    • Committed to mission, values and success of Good Faith Energy
    • College graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent education considered relevant to the position
    • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in rolessuch as Business Development, Sales or similar
    • Solid knowledge of the Microsoft office suite,and CRM software
    • NABCEP certified is preferred
    • Display a high level of energy, is a self-starter and thrives working in a fast paced environment –go-getter and hustler mindset at all times
    • Is eager and quick to learn on his/hers feet, and a true problem-solver coupled with a solutions orientation
    • A team player who has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and is customer service oriented whilst being a good negotiator; going above and beyond to achieve customer satisfaction even if it meant consulting customers during weekends
    • A person who works diligently, is detailed oriented and has strong mathematical skills
    • Characterized as organized, structured and focused on delivering set goals
    • Obtains a fundamental understanding of electricity and energy markets, and a high level understanding of construction with focus on electrical work –both DC and AC
    • Someone who owns up to their mistakes, and actively seeks to resolve them while taking pride in their work product before and after the sale
